Meeting Paige Hulsey at Magic Mini Golf was an unforgettable experience — and it just so happened to be for my first-ever live TV appearance! Now that the news about my 'Fool Us' episode is out, I’m not as worried about accidentally leaking spoilers. I felt comfortable, confident, and more like myself on camera — something that was easy to do with Paige’s upbeat, welcoming energy.

We kicked off the segment on the Ferris Wheel, which was an adventure in itself. Let’s just say heights and I aren’t exactly friends… and I ended up “vomiting” playing cards. Not my finest moment, but hey — it made for good TV, right?

After that, we moved next to it with my emotional-support puppet, Pancakes, took center stage. He presented a magic trick and found Paige’s chosen card — the 4 of Hearts — in his own playful way. Seeing her reaction made the moment even better.

Next, we headed down to the mini golf area for another mind-bending trick. Paige picked a random band from a string of musicians. With some intense concentration (and a little magic, of course), all the other options fell, leaving only her selection standing. It was such a fun moment to share on live TV.

Paige’s genuine excitement and easygoing vibe made the entire shoot feel less like an interview and more like two friends having a blast with some magic. After the segment, we even filmed a quick promo for Magic Mini Golf’s 314 Day celebration! It featured me casually producing playing cards, tossing them into the air while chatting about $3.14 mini golf and, of course, more magic from 6 to 8 p.m.
