Say More with Randi Naughton

Big news, friends!

I had the absolute pleasure of being on More to Say with Randi Naughton, and let me tell you — she is an STL icon for a reason! We talked about Magic Mini Golf and she shared some incredible advice that I’m definitely going to follow. 

Oh, and did we do the happy dance together?! Yes, yes we did — and Randi even said that’s officially my trademark now. How cool is that? 

We also dove into my story — and believe it or not, a Spice Girl played a big part in it! Back before Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Brent Braun encouraged me to audition for Season 10. I never heard back. By the time Season 11 auditions came around, I wasn’t feeling motivated. 

Then something wild happened. I headed to NYC with a fellow artist — a little bit for some magic, but mainly to meet Mel B - Scary Spice 

Meeting her was unreal — she was bursting with positive energy, charisma, and strength. Violet showed off her Spice Girls tattoos, and Mel B not only signed her arm but kissed it too! When it was my turn, she asked where I was from and commented on my accent. She was so warm and full of good vibes, it felt like some of that confidence and power rubbed off on me. 

After that unforgettable moment, we went straight to a tattoo shop.

Back in STL, I still couldn’t shake that empowered feeling — and on a whim, I sent in a last-minute audition. And guess what?  I made it onto Penn & Teller: Fool Us!

Randi encouraged me to share this story and even suggested I reach out to Mel B — and honestly, how could I not listen to Randi Naughton? She’s amazing and brilliant.
