Born and raised right here in St. Louis, Amanda’s professional magic journey began in 2014, though she has been performing since the fifth grade. After stepping onto the national stage for Penn & Teller: Fool Us (Season 11), she transitioned to a full-time performer, regularly selling out iconic local venues like The Duck Room and headlining theaters, galas, fundraisers, and luxury private events across the country.
Amanda’s performances are rooted in authentic human connection and curiosity. A proud graduate of the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL), she holds a double major in Psychology and Communications, a Master of Education in Counseling, and a Deaf Communications Certificate. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and continues her research via ongoing Harvard Online coursework.
This deep academic foundation gives her magic tricks a thoughtful, highly emotionally intelligent edge. For years, she worked in a building helping kids with special needs, using magic tricks every single day to build trust and connect with them. That experience completely shaped how she performs today—making sure everyone in the room feels safe, included, and part of the fun. You never have to embarrass an audience member to get massive laughs.
Known across social media for filming her close-up magic from a first-person GoPro perspective, Amanda flips the lens to highlight what she believes is the true magic: people’s raw, genuine reactions. This modern format has gone viral, resonating with millions worldwide and earning features in leading international industry journals like Genii Magazine, MagicSeen, and Magische Welt.
When she isn't entertaining corporate boards in Clayton or breaking the ice at luxury weddings at The Chase Park Plaza, Amanda is performing for fellow magicians as a proud member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle in Hollywood and the Chicago Magic Round Table.
Beyond the stage, Amanda believes in lasting philanthropy. A portion of all booking proceeds directly supports local animal care funds, including Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary, ensuring your premier event contributes to a meaningful local cause.
Hiring an entertainer who holds a Master’s in Counseling means your event is handled with unparalleled emotional intelligence.
Premium events require subtle, high-level room management. A great performance doesn't disrupt a cocktail hour—it elevates it.
